Your Hashkafa profile tells TachlisAI how to approach sensitive topics, so its answers fit your community's standards.

What are the options?

  • Modern Orthodox
  • Mainstream Orthodox (the default)
  • Yeshivish / Chasidish

You choose one when you create your account, and you can change it anytime.

Change your Hashkafa profile

  1. Open Settings and go to the Hashkafa section.
  2. Under Sensitive-topic approach, choose an option. It saves automatically.

If you have an accountability partner, they're notified whenever you change this setting.

On WhatsApp or SMS, send HASHKAFA to see your current setting and how to change it.

Lock your Hashkafa profile

Locking makes sure the setting can't be changed casually, including by someone else using your phone.

  1. In the Hashkafa section, check Require support to change my Hashkafa setting.
  2. Select Lock this setting.

You can also lock it during signup with Lock my Hashkafa (optional).

Once it's locked, you'll see "Your Hashkafa setting is locked." To change it or remove the lock, contact support.

Family accounts

If a parent manages your account, you'll see "Your parent manages this Hashkafa setting." Only the parent can change it. See Family (beta).
