How do I create a file?
Ask for the file in Chat and say what format you want. For example:
- "Make an Excel spreadsheet to track my monthly budget, with categories and totals."
- "Turn these notes into a one-page Word document with headings."
- "Create a 6-slide presentation about the history of the Kosel for 5th graders."
- "Make a printable PDF sign-up sheet for our kiddush."
When the file is ready, TachlisAI includes a download link in its answer.
Can TachlisAI work with my existing files?
Yes. Attach the file with + and describe what you want, like "Clean up this spreadsheet and add a totals row" or "Rewrite this document in simpler English." See Uploading files and photos.
Can it write code or build a website?
Yes. TachlisAI can write and fix code, analyze data, and build a simple website you can preview right in the chat.
Why can't TachlisAI create a file in this chat?
If you're using a model from another AI lab (Claude, Gemini, Grok, or Muse Spark), that model can't create files or run code. Switch the chat's response mode to Faster or Smarter and ask again. See Choosing a response mode.
