Every conversation is saved to your account, so you can pick it up later on any device.

How do I start a new chat?

Select the New chat icon (a pencil) at the top right of Chat. On a computer, you can also open the sidebar and select + next to your conversations.

Where are my previous chats?

Your conversations are listed under Recent in the sidebar, newest first.

  • On a computer: the sidebar is on the left. If it's collapsed, select Open chat history.
  • On a phone: tap the menu button at the top left of Chat.

Select a chat to open it. Scroll to the bottom of the list to load older chats.

How do I rename a chat?

  1. Open the sidebar and find the chat under Recent.
  2. Select the pencil next to the chat's title (Rename).
  3. Type the new name and save.

How do I delete a chat?

  1. Open the sidebar and find the chat.
  2. Select the trash icon (Delete).
  3. When it asks Delete?, confirm.

The chat is removed from your history on every device. If you shared a link to it, revoke the link first if you no longer want it viewable. See Sharing a chat with a link.
