Getting started with your first chat

Send your first message

1. Sign in at tachlisai.com or open the app. You'll land in Chat.
2. Type your question in the message box that says Ask TachlisAI.
3. Select Send, or press Enter on a computer.

TachlisAI writes its answer right below your message. Ask a follow-up the same way: it remembers what you've already discussed in that chat.

Ideas to try

• "Write a polite email asking my landlord to fix the heat."
• "Explain compound interest simply, with an example."
• "Make a weekly chore chart for four kids, ages 6 to 13."
• "Summarize this PDF in five bullet points" (attach the file with +).
• "Draw a cheerful illustration of a family Shabbos table."

Find your way around

• Message box: type here, or select the microphone to dictate. Select + to attach photos and files.
• Response mode: the button in the message box sets how much thinking TachlisAI does. Faster is great for everyday questions. See Choosing a response mode.
• New chat: the pencil icon at the top right starts a fresh conversation.
• Sidebar: your recent chats, Zmanim, and your account menu. On a phone, tap the menu button at the top left to open it.

• Give context: who it's for, how long it should be, and the tone you want.
• Keep follow-ups about the same task in the same chat. Start a New chat for an unrelated topic. See Tips for getting better answers.
• TachlisAI can make mistakes, so double-check important facts.
