TachlisAI can use background about you so you don't have to repeat yourself. You decide what it may use, and each source has its own on/off switch. Find all of them in Settings under Personalization.

About you

About you holds the details you choose to share: what TachlisAI should call you, what you spend your time on, your interests, and your goals.

  • Turn Use my profile in chats on or off.
  • Edit any field, or leave it blank. Everything is optional.

Saved memories

TachlisAI can remember helpful facts from your chats, like "I teach 3rd grade" or "I prefer short answers."

  • Save and use memories turns memories on or off. Turning them off stops TachlisAI from saving or using them, but doesn't delete them.
  • Add a memory lets you add one yourself.
  • Delete any saved memory from the list. Settings shows how many memories you can save.
  • Show memory toggle in chats adds a button at the top of each chat to turn memories on or off for just that chat.

Chat summary

The chat summary is a dated log of what you've been working on, plus an About you section. It helps TachlisAI pick up where you left off.

  • Summarize my recent chats keeps the summary updated.
  • Summarize my past chats builds it from up to 250 of your earlier chats.
  • View and edit the summary lets you read, change, or clear it.

Turning the summary off stops updates and removes it from your chats. The file is kept so you can still view, edit, or clear it.
