This article summarizes common privacy questions. The Privacy Policy is the full and binding description of how we handle your information.

What information does TachlisAI collect?

  • Account information, such as your name and email address.
  • Chats and uploads: the messages you send, the answers TachlisAI generates, and files you upload.
  • Usage information, such as which features you use and when, plus feedback and bug reports you send us.
  • Technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location based on your IP address.

Are my chats used to improve TachlisAI?

It depends on your plan. On a free plan, your chat conversations may be used to help improve TachlisAI. On a paid plan, your chat data is not used for model training or product improvement unless you choose to opt in.

Google Workspace data is handled separately. It is never used for product improvement or model training, on any plan. See Connecting Google Workspace.

Who can see or process my chats?

To generate answers, your messages and files are sent to the AI providers that power TachlisAI, such as OpenAI, or the provider of another model you choose. TachlisAI runs on Amazon Web Services. We do not sell your personal data.

If you use WhatsApp or text messaging, Twilio and Meta (WhatsApp) also process your messages so they can be delivered.

Does my accountability partner see my chats?

Your partner doesn't receive your regular chats. If a chat is flagged, for example because of a blocked request, the notification includes context from that chat, why it was flagged, and when. Long conversations may be shortened. Parents managing a Family account can also request access to all conversations with their child's agreement. How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual chats from your chat history, delete saved memories in Settings under Personalization, and close your account at any time. See Closing your account. To ask us to delete your personal data, email support@tachlisai.com.

Can children use TachlisAI?

TachlisAI is not intended for children under 13. Parents of older children can use Family (beta) to manage a child's account.

How is my data protected?

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, a web application firewall, private networking, backups, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't share passwords, verification codes, or payment card numbers in a chat.
